crafty pants

This morning as I attempted to fold the mountain of clean laundry in Jack's room, I remembered a couple of thrift store-bound t-shirts I had pulled aside to make a craft. Needing a break from said laundry-folding, I grabbed a pair of scissors and chopped up a couple of t-shirts and... voila! Here you have (as my li'l sister Randee called it), the "scarf-lace" (scarf/necklace).

It's just about the easiest way to create a fun, FREE accessory, not to mention a great way to avoid the laundry-folding for about 10 minutes.

I loosely used the tutorial found HERE... easy peasy.

POST-EDIT:

Apparently, there's something hilarious about my necklace, and my brothers both posted their versions on Facebook... Johnny's is a couple of pieces of tissue paper and Trav's is post-it notes. Have a look:

POST-EDIT #2 -- Randee joined in on the fun with a hanger... sheesh. And Travis added another version, as well -- the cell phone cord.

Dorks.
