If I were his student, I'd totally have a Rachel-Scheuster crush on him.
Right now, he's busy with the following:
- Directing Everyman for his students' one-act competition.
- Building Everyman set.
- Planning trip to NYC with group of students.
- Pre-planning for White Christmas production in December.
- You know, teaching his classes...
I'm so very proud of this guy, and so grateful that he's a hard worker. It's funny hearing the kids call him "Mr. Pingel", and when I'm around, they call me, "Miss Pingel" or "Miss Darcy"... I love Southern kids.
(*Did you know I once got chewed out via-a blog comment by a "friend" of the lovely woman who writes this blog, because I called Adam "Mr. Pingel" and I was 'such a fake' because the aforementioned blogger uses the "Mr." title for her husband's name? True story. I doubt they're really friends. This woman is too lovely to have grouchy friends.)
really, darcy?? just because adam is a teacher doesn't mean you can PLAGIARIZE other bloggers. her husband is the ONLY ONE in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE who get's called "mr."
ReplyDeletereally, though, i love reading about your life. i love watching my friends turn into real-life grown-ups and pingel grown-ups are the cutest kind there is.

Oh the life of a drama teacher! It never ends!! By the way you getting chewed out by that person is very ridiculous. Especially since Adam IS a "Mr." (Being a teacher and all) People are so weird about what they choose to criticize. Also, I love your cute little family... adorable!!
ReplyDeletePretty sure she has not trade marked that name. I know TONS of bloggers that call their husbands Mr. Wow. That crazy that she would even care! Other than that, way to go Adam for getting a good job! Happy for you guys!
